Glugio Gronk Nicandro is an American/Mexican and Chic -Cano Artist from East LA, CA.  Gronk has always been a supportive and giving artist by donating time and art to filmmakers like me.  He recently donated a Tormenta Art Piece to be auctioned in a crowd funding campaign for our newest project currently titled Marisol.  In the next couple of month you'll have the opportunity to bid on a fantastic piece by Gronk the Artist.

This past Saturday, August 1, 2015 we had our first table read at the iconic Self Help Graphics for our next short film, currently titled Marisol (working title).

Marisol is the story of a little girl that deals with the tragedy of child abuse- and neglect-related fatality. Based on a true story, Marisol is set in East LA during the Dia de Los Muertos.

I want to thank Self Help Graphics & Art for being a great partner. Our work without you would not be possible. Self Help - true to your name, you let me explore social issues affecting our communities without bureaucracy or censorship. Thank you for hosting our film festivals and for assisting in the production of our short films.

Thank you to the little actresses for being true professionals. Thank you to the actors and writer/producer. Heather Flores Jay R. Martinez Denise Ruiz Javier Ortiz
